Before You Move: Planning & Estimate

Your moving experience with TSC begins with estimating your move. You begin this process either giving us a call or filling our online estimate form.

If your home is in the area, we shall visit your place to evaluate the amount of inventory and packing work needed. This visit is FREE of charge and is section of our total service package.

If you should be outside of Greater Toronto Area, we shall speak with you in more detail over the phone - and get all the data on your own inventory and other important details to give you the quote.

Alternatively, you should use our online estimate form to submit your information. The proper execution is quite detailed and will remind you to add those lawn chairs or the bike in the garage that you forgot to consider about.

We will then give you an in depth cost estimate. We shall stand by our quote: given that the data received from you is accurate, the purchase price we charge you is likely to be within the quote (or lower if possible).

Moving

If you require packing, a group of trained packers will arrive at your place on your day of the move or your day before - with regards to the number of packing required.

If you decide on to pack the stuff yourself, we have a source of packing tips to assist you do the most effective job.

Before loading begins, we shall take care to protect your floors, walls and doorways with runners.

A detailed list of inventory will be prepared, including tagging or each item. We shall ask you about those items of special concern and will treat them accordingly.

At The Destination

Whenever your items arrive at the brand new location, we shall unload them. We shall follow your floor plan outlining where things should go. Our team will reassemble the furniture which was disassembled.

You will check those items contrary to the inventory. If anything appears to be damaged - make a note on the inventory list and notify us right away.

If you request unpacking, we shall unpack and place those items in the areas where they are supposed to go. This is performed on your day of delivery or your day after.
